("IS THIS ON??!!!")
This is what I know about Dangerous Muse:
1) Members Mike Furey and Tom Napack are gay.
2) Not with each other though.
3) Both share ties to my school - Fordham University
(Furey is an alumnus while Napack is still taking courses.)
4) Furey met Seymour Stein, founder of Sire Records, on a chance encounter and somehow got him to listen to his demo. (Does this really still happen anymore in music's digital age??)
5) Their single "The Rejection" about rejecting a girl who thinks he's hot but wants to dance anyway is so mind feverishly catchy that I may need to stick my head in a pool just to drown out the sound.
Recent posts from Furey indicate that they are in the studio recording their first full-length album. Check out this promo for "The Rejection":
(WARNING: Provocative imagery...playing this at work might get you fired or at the very least raise a few eyebrows.)

I just discovered Dangerous Muse, sexy boys, intriguing. I wish their music was a bit heavier, not so smoothed over and icy and muted with the vocals.
Cool blog, will follow!
