Hello, Hello

Reasons for starting this blog:

1) I'm a lazy shit looking to waste even more time on the internet (as if myspace and facebook weren't enough).

2) Not to come off too pretentious or anything but I find some pretty good shit from time to time. Whether it be books, films, or tunes I'll most likely throw up a recommendation here or there. No one will probably give two shits but thats fine with me.

3) Since I'm in my early-twenties I figure that this is the most exciting period in my life. My perspective is that once you hit your 30's your life is pretty much boring and no one gives a shit other than your equally boring 30-something friends. This being said I might as well write down what I do now and then look back on it later so I can live through myself vicariously and retrospectively (there's got to be a word combing those two terms....c'mon Websters.)

4) Fidgeting and customizing this blog has made me terribly late for my 6 o'clock Western Enlightenment course....nope, not going now.
